It seems that everywhere you look you see a broken family. Either the mother walked out, the father is an alcoholic, or there is another story. There has to be a way to start saving families from divorce and separation. If you notice that your spouse comes home, heads to the fridge for a cold drink, and seems emotionally distant from you, but you do not feel like discussing it with your spouse, then you need to seriously consider marriage therapy. If you notice problems occurring in your marriage, you should not wait too long before you seek professional help. One thing you must remember is not to point the finger at your spouse. Don't take all the blame either, but work things out together since it all started together. Find out what your spouse's needs are. Learn how you can help them be the person they want to be. Discuss everything from money, to children, to household chores, to your sexual relationship.

If you don't feel like having sexual relationships with your partner, then you need to tell them why so they don't feel like you are disgusted by them. Women are more hurt by this than men, they feel unattractive and don't feel like they are loved. This will cause the woman to keep her emotions to herself and she will keep quiet around her husband causing him to feel like she doesn't respect him anymore. Marriage therapy will help you stop the cycle of love and respect. You will learn how to talk things out with your spouse and you will be on the road to your happily ever after.
